Charlus
Quantcast

Plans for now are to continue to write the new record, in which 2 great songs have already been composed, a haunting antique styled ballad called "I Would Never Stray From You" which can be heard on www.myspace.com/charlus and a real rocker of a tune called "Young Handsome and Alone" which I think is very exciting ground for me as a singer and writer to tread on.

Also, there are plans for gigs in late winter early spring 08' as I am meeting lots of great people who want to take part in the band…but perfectionism insists upon me and I wont settle for anything but the best.

So for now, I bid you adieu and wish nothing but the highest for all concerned:

- God Bless -

Some afterglow thoughts on Tragic:

Tragic Accident, hmmm lets see, I think it is an excellent album but I want you to feel that way too because I think it offers elements that most records don't these days: Interesting and Diverse Originality. I believe Tragic Accident is a layered record with many sub-meanings flowing through the songs, as well as having face value direct-meanings. It justifiably deserves a fair chance and will graciously reward the discerning listener. The more you listen, the stronger it becomes, one of the reasons why, is because at no turn in the writing did I ever resort to the "quick sale". With that said, some of the songs I think, are very radio friendly and offer mass appeal, see "I Never Liked My Body" or "I Lost My Baby".

I wrote what I think is a fantastic record, Political (The Opium Farmer), Religious (The Witch Wanders In) and of course, stories of love, defeat and the labyrinths in between-
